The Advanced Air Mobility Institute’s Founder and President, Dan Sloat, has been selected as a Conference Advisor for the upcoming Advanced Air Mobility Expo 2024.

According to the AAM Institute, this role underscores Sloat’s expertise and leadership in forging the future of air mobility technologies and their integration into urban environments.

Scheduled to take place at the ExCeL, London on September 24th and 25th, 2024, the Advanced Air Mobility Expo serves as a key platform for global experts and professionals to explore and advance the air mobility industry. With a focus on Urban Air Mobility (UAM) and sustainable transportation solutions, this year’s expo promises to set new benchmarks and foster critical dialogue among key players in the industry.

Beth Hoskins, spokesperson for the AAM Expo, said; “The Advanced Air Mobility Expo is honored to partner with the Advanced Air Mobility Institute this year, joining forces to shape the future of air mobility. Our shared mission is to create a platform that fosters dialogue and advances the industry, uniting professionals worldwide. Through this collaboration, the [AAM] Expo and the [AAM] Institute are bringing together global experts to illuminate this evolving sector and provide a comprehensive roadmap for the integration of air transportation.”

The event will feature a dedicated keynote theatre hosting expert sessions from organizations such as the Department for Transport, Civil Aviation Authority, National Air Traffic System (NATS), Bristow, United Kingdom Research and Innovation (UKRI), and more. Attendees can expect exclusive networking opportunities aimed at catalyzing innovation and collaboration across the industry.

Philip Butterworth-Hayes, AAM Institute’s UK Liaison, said; “As we approach the full commercialisation phase of the advanced air mobility industry, it is critical that all elements of the sector are in sync to ensure both cargo and passenger carrying services can be introduced into cities in a way which is safe, secure, economical, viable, and supported by the communities it will serve. The London AAM Expo will play a crucial role in bringing all the stakeholders together in one place to discuss whether we are on track and what actions need to be taken to make sure this industry can realise its potential.”
