Joby has surpassed 40,000 miles flown across its fleet of electric air taxis — an achievement powered by thousands of vertical take-offs and landings, and hundreds of seamless transitions from hover to cruise.
From flying in three countries to five aircraft in the company’s fleet, Joby believes this is more than flight testing — it is the future taking shape.
The company’s aircraft fly nearly every day, showcasing hover, high-speed cruise, and everything in between. They have been tested in different environments, at high speeds and altitudes, and Joby has published in-depth studies of the aircraft’s acoustic signature and outwash profile based on real-world flight data.
As the company moves steadily toward commercial operations, Joby is more than halfway through the fourth stage of certification with the Federal Aviation Administration and has its sights set on scaling manufacturing of aircraft in both California and Ohio.
Joby is proud to lead a new chapter of aviation — quiet, emissions-free flight coming soon to cities and communities across the U.S. and around the world.
